147-unit apartment complex in heart of Lauraville moves forward

A retooled plan to construct a 147-unit apartment project in Northeast Baltimore got a thumbs up from a city design panel Thursday and is moving forward. The complex will sit in Lauraville, a small community of residential and retail located south of Hamilton on the Harford Road corridor. Designs for the project in the 4500 block of Harford Road were presented by Alexander Design Studio, lead architect for the project for developer MCB Real Estate, a firm based in Clipper Mill that has several projects underway around town including the upcoming renewal of Harborplace downtown and the $100 million Madison Park North, which kicked off Thursday morning.
