Archer Daniels blows past Q3 estimates led by strength in nutrition segment
Archer Daniels Midland Co. blew past earnings estimates for the third quarter on Tuesday, as it benefited from an integrated supply chain and strong demand. The Chicago-based seeds and agricultural company said it had net income of $526 million, or 93 cents a share, in the quarter, up from $225 million, or 40 cents a share, in the year-earlier period.
