Boeing shakes up struggling defense unit
The Boeing Co. has reorganized its defense and space unit in the wake of third-quarter results that reflected ongoing difficulties with the business. The company announced Thursday that it has consolidated the eight divisions of Boeing Defense, Space and Security into four, naming company veterans to lead each. • Air Dominance, which covers its fighter, drones and non-space Phantom Works programs, to be led by vice president and general manager Steve Nordlund.
