New townhome community joins heavy activity in Wendell
A homebuilding giant is joining the rush of development in Wendell with a new townhome community. Taylor Morrison Home Corp. (NYSE: TMHC) of Scottsdale, Arizona, has filed plans for the Magnolia Townes, calling for 121 homes across 40 acres. The property is currently owned by Shelby-based Capitol Funds Inc., which bought the land in 2004 for $400,000, according to Wake County records.
