Arlington considers increasing developer fees as HQ2 fuels development boom

Arlington County is considering altering what it charges for the review of proposed developments, and is hiring a consultant to help assess the existing fee structure and recommend changes. Arlington officials want the evaluation to be finished before the end of 2020, and an updated fee structure to go into effect by July 2022, according to a request for proposals issued in February.
