President-elect Joe Biden will name Antony Blinken his nominee as secretary of state, Bloomberg News first reported Sunday night.

Blinken is a longtime Biden adviser and a former deputy secretary of state. Bloomberg said the official announcement is expected Tuesday. The New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal independently confirmed the news later Sunday night.

Bloomberg also said Jake Sullivan, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton, is likely to be named Biden’s national security adviser. Both men served at times as Biden’s national security adviser when he was vice president.

If confirmed, Blinken will likely focus his efforts on mending international relations and rejoining the Paris climate accord, the World Health Organization and the Iran nuclear deal. He will also likely take a leading role in U.S. immigration and the refugee policies — a subject he discussed with “Sesame Street” in 2016.
