Breaking: Amazon Fresh to open in new Maitland shopping center, in talks for more locations, say sources

A shopping center under construction in Maitland features an as-yet-unnamed specialty grocery store, but real estate sources tell Orlando Business Journal the anchor tenant at Trelago Market will be the first brick-and-mortar Amazon Fresh location in the market. There is buzz throughout the market about the looming entry of the online retail giant’s grocery concept, as real estate sources confirmed to OBJ that Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) has been pursuing sites around the metro.
