Chip stocks in broad selloff, as AMD tumbles over 6%

The semiconductor sector taking a dive in premarket trading Monday, as worries about the worldwide spread of COVID-19 has triggered a broad selloff in stocks. The VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF dropped 3.7% ahead of the open, with all 25 components losing ground by more than 2%, as futures for the S&P 500 slumped 2.3%.
