0014 GMT – SK Hynix is set to stage a strong profit turnaround in 2024 on brisk demand for high-bandwidth-memory chips and enterprise solid-state drives, Daiwa Capital analyst S.K. Kim says in a note. Kim expects the South Korean semiconductor company to continue solid earnings growth until 2025 on tight chip supply. SK Hynix, likely to supply an estimated 80% of HBM3 and eight-stack HMB3E products to Nvidia could see revenue double to KRW65.7 trillion with operating profit of KRW22.6 trillion in 2024.
