XPeng Has Priced Its New Lidar-Equipped EV Sedan. What to Know.
Chinese electric vehicle maker (XPEV) on Saturday announced pricing for its new lidar-equipped sedan, as competition continues to heat up in the EV industry. The new P5 sedan will retail for about 160,000 to 230,000 Yuan after purchase subsidies, or approximately $25,000 to $35,000, XPeng (ticker: XPEV) says. Lidar, or laser-based radar, is a key enabling technology for self-driving cars.
