Heard on the Street: Micron’s AI Boost Comes With Big Price Tag
The old saw that you have to spend money to make money is proving especially true in the age of artificial intelligence. Tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Meta Platforms are all boosting capital spending to buy more chips from Nvidia and other components needed to power generative AI services in their networks. This, in turn, means component makers have to step up their own spending to keep up with booming demand.
