Two of facebooks top officers left the company this week and it not good news. One of the executives to leave the company was the number 3 man in the entire operation, the other was the head of whatsapp messaging service. The reason they left is even more disturbing in my opinion, they left over the direction the social network was headed towards.
The differences stemmed from Mr. Zuckerberg’s asserting control over his company and its apps — Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger — by rolling out a plan to integrate the services into a single privacy-focused platform, according to six people involved in the situation.
The stock was down almost 1.5% yesterday and I would expect another couple points to fall off before the company re-establishes a new floor. In the short term I wouldn’t be long this stock.
