Facebook Inc. will pay $52 million to its content moderators who developed PTSD while working for the social-networking giant, according to a report in The Verge on Tuesday. The news site cited a preliminary settlement filed Friday in San Mateo [Calif.] Superior Court. The payment comes after the news outlet reported about Facebook content moderators facing trauma and developing PTSD with severely limited mental resources last year.
