A group of former Trustify Inc. employees have been awarded $259,425.49 in back pay, lost wages and damages against the former Arlington private investigator company and its founder and former CEO, Danny Boice, according to a Sept. 4 order in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The award comes after the former employees won a default judgment against Trustify and Boice in April. The employees were seeking a total of $34,707.57 in back pay, along with an “equal amount as liquidated damages” with attorney’s fees, interest and any other relief provided by the court.
