The priciest NBA game of the five holiday matchups set for Wednesday is the crosstown Clippers versus Lakers in Los Angeles, where a seat is going for an average $1,405 on the secondary market.

It that holds, it will be the priciest Christmas Day game of the decade, according to ticket-price data tracker TicketIQ

The Clippers topped the Lakers during the NBA season opener in October, but LeBron James and Co. now have the second best record leading into Christmas Day’s most anticipated matchup. The Clippers didn’t have Paul George when the teams first met and he’s thrived when sharing the court with Kawhi Leonard so far this season, Sports Illustrated says in its preview of Wednesday’s game.

To date, the next two priciest Christmas Day tickets were $1,292 for last year’s Lakers at Golden State Warriors and $1,011 for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Warriors in 2015.

The average asking price of all 2019 Christmas Day games is $587.40 on the secondary market, making this year’s the priciest Christmas Day since TicketIQ began tracking data in 2011.

The cheapest 2019 Christmas day game will be the New Orleans Pelicans at Denver Nuggets game, which has an average asking price of $205 on the resale market.
