Gong Yoo explores the moon’s darkest secrets in trailer for Netflix’s new Korean sci-fi thriller ‘The Silent Sea’
Netflix recently released its official trailer for the sci-fi K-drama “The Silent Sea,” giving viewers a look into “the darkest secrets of the moon.” About the show: The trailer for “The Silent Sea,” which is based on the 2014 short film “The Sea of Tranquility” by director Choi Hang-yong, was released on Dec. 9. The eight-episode series, which was also directed by Choi, features South Korean stars Gong Yoo from “Train to Busan,” Bae Doo-na from “Sense8,” Heo Sung-tae from “Squid Game” and Lee Joon from K-pop boy group MBLAQ. Astrobiologist Song Ji-an, played by Bae, is visited by the chief of Resource Group of Aviation Administration, played by Heo.
