That’s President-elect Joe Biden’s reported pick for energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, writing last month in the Detroit News, in an op-ed calling for policies to hasten a zero-carbon future and create jobs.

Granholm, a former two-term Michigan governor, was writing about that state, but would be poised to expand her vision nationwide if confirmed by the Senate to head the Energy Department.
