As for Iran’s reaction, Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif accused U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo of “max deceit.”
Meanwhile, the headlines sent oil prices surging double-digits and weighed heavily on markets. At last check the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.13% was down 160 points while crude CL00, -0.40% was up 11% to $61.16 a barrel.
