Microsoft plans to be carbon negative in 10 year

Microsoft Corp. isn't satisfied with trying to be carbon neutral, it plans to be carbon negative by 2030. But that's not all, as the software giant said that by 2050, it will remove from the earth all the carbon it has ever emitted, either directly or by electrical consumption, since its founding in 1975. "While the world will need to reach net zero, those of us who can afford to move faster and go further should do so," said President Brad Smith. "That's why today we are announcing an ambitious goal and a new plan to reduce and ultimately remove Microsoft's carbon footprint."
