What does Bob Iger’s return to Disney mean for theme parks?
The return of Bob Iger as CEO of The Walt Disney Co. raises a lot of questions on the future of the parks — specifically what decision reversals he may have in mind from his predecessor, Bob Chapek. Iger, who was CEO before Chapek for 15 years, has come back with a warm welcome from many Disney fans. Comments on fan sites such as WDWMagic show a majority of support for the change, and even celebrities such as actor Josh Gad, who has played roles in Disney’s Frozen and Beauty and the Beast films, celebrated the decision, via his social media account.
