Sabrina Carpenter attended a screening for her first variety music special “A Nonsense Christmas” for Netflix in New York City on Thursday. Styled by Jared Ellner, the singer wore a look from Chanel‘s fall 1994 collection, which was first worn on the runway by Naomi Campbell.
The look featured a cropped fur jacket made of long hair, with white cuffs and trim. Under it, Carpenter wore a spaghetti strap dress, which she revealed once inside the event. The top of the dress was knit, and the bottom was made of black and white fur.
Carpenter completed the look with a pair of mule sandals. The black velvet shoes featured a mink animal-free strap and are from Kandee Shoes.
Carpenter wore her blond hair in curls with a bang. For makeup, she wore a red lip as well as blush.

Ellner has collaborated with Carpenter on most of her looks this year. In October, Carpenter attended the 2024 Time 100 Next Gala wearing an aluminum metal mesh gown by Versace. That look featured a sweetheart neckline and was floor-length. It came with a matching scarf. She was honored to be named to the Time 100 Next list. For her cover image, she and Ellner pulled from Campbell’s oeuvre again. She wore a red archival Victoria’s Secret gown originally worn by the model in 1997. It featured an embellished heart and statement bow.
“A Nonsense Christmas” features the singer’s 2023 holiday EP “Fruitcake.” That project includes songs like “Cindy Lou Who” and “Buy Me Presents.” Available to stream on Friday, the special includes musical guests like Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain and Kali Uchis. Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne and Megan Stalter also make appearances, among others.
