SAP on Monday said co-Chief Executive Christian Klein, who is a member of the software giant’s executive board, will become sole CEO on April 30. Jennifer Morgan, who shared the title, has mutually agreed with the supervisory board of SAP to depart. “More than ever, the current environment requires companies to take swift, determined action which is best supported by a very clear leadership structure,” SAP said in a statement. “Therefore, the decision to transfer from co-CEO to sole CEO model was taken earlier than planned to ensure strong, unambiguous steering in times of an unprecedented crisis.” This is the second co-CEO shakeup at a software giant in recent months. In February, Salesforce.com Inc. announced co-CEO Keith Block was leaving the company, making co-founder Marc Benioff its sole CEO.
