BRAD SMITH: Welcome back to Yahoo Finance Live, everyone. We’ve got just two minutes left until the closing bell. Let’s sprint on over to YFi Interactive, where we’ve got Yahoo Finance’s Ines Ferre standing by with more. Ines?

INES FERRE: And Brad, what a difference this afternoon makes compared to this morning. Looking at the Dow, up 88 points, 2/10 of a percent, but remember, the Dow had opened in the red earlier this morning. The NASDAQ right now around the flat line. It’s been a volatile day, and the S&P 500 up 4/10 of a percent.

Looking at the sector action, we are seeing that health care, energy, consumer staples, those are the leaders. Communication services and real estate are the laggards. Over on the NASDAQ 100, Tesla up more than 1%. Tesla going between positive and negative territory throughout the day. Amazon down 6/10 of a percent. Costco up more than 4%. Costco is at all-time highs here after reporting its March sales, which were up almost 19% year over year.

Over on the Chinese ADRs, we are seeing a bit of a pullback for JD.com today, down more than 3%. Alibaba is also lower. I do want to show you the energy stocks because energy was one of the leaders. And we are seeing Occidental Petroleum up more than 2 and 1/2% after it was upgraded at Piper Sandler.

Here’s the closing bell for today, Thursday, April 7. Take a listen.
