The Nasdaq Is Getting Crushed by the Dow
The Dow is crushing the Nasdaq Composite on the final day of May. The Dow is up 251 points, or 0.7%, while the Nasdaq is down about 1.3%. It’s the largest outperformance by the Dow since April 19, when it beat the Nasdaq by 2.61 percentage points, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Only eight Dow stocks, including technology names like Amazon.com, Microsoft, Apple, and International Business Machines, were trading lower on the day.
