So what are the five most dreaded words at the office? Well, some say it’s, “Let’s start a Google Doc.” Now that most workers are back in the office, it seems employers are still looking to create Google Docs.

Here at Yahoo Finance, we’re a big believer in Google Docs. I remember when I came over here, I was a little bit surprised as to how often we used Google Docs. But, Dave, what do you think of this?

I had never used a Google Doc prior to Yahoo Finance. I do often look down at one here at home. Not going to say I’m a huge fan of the Google Doc collaboration.

I don’t think most people are back at the office. In fact, New York City is only 8% of workers are back five days a week in the office. My fear is, moving forward, we will forget how to collaborate face-to-face, whether it’s Zooms or Google Docs or Skypes, I fear for the next generation. Will they lose the ability to face-to-face collaborate instead? Just do it on a Doc.

I mean, it’s interesting, because when I first started using Google Docs– and I’ve been using it forever– it was because I got tired of losing my work when my computer crashed. I just needed something that wouldn’t get lost, and no matter what device I was on, I could use it. I’m not loving it when I keep seeing more and more Google Docs.

It’s like the relationship equivalent of “we need to talk.” It’s like, oh, another one? The fewer, the better. If we can consolidate, make them effective, then I don’t mind. It’s the centralized place. I don’t mind. I quite like it.

I [INAUDIBLE] say, I think my most hated phrase– it doesn’t really have to do so much about being back in the office. But when it comes to work, is “I wanted to circle back. I wanted to circle back.” Yep, that’s five words there. That is my most hated phrase.

Can you just say, I wanted to follow up? Let’s follow up. But “I want to circle back.” Just sounds too much like corporate jargon to me.
