US President Donald Trump walks to speak with supporters after arriving on Air Force One at the Palm Beach International Airport to spend Easter weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort on April 18, 2019 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

President Donald Trump on Friday, from his vacation home in Florida, on Friday said the Mueller report which he also said exonerated him was full of “bullshit.”

‘CRAZY MUELLER REPORT’

The president, in an incomplete tweetstorm dashed off before a round of golf with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, accused the sources of the Mueller report — current and former members of his administration or his businesses — of making stories up to either make themselves look good or Trump look bad.

“Watch out for people that take so-called ‘notes,’ when the notes never existed until needed,” he said of what he also called, the “Crazy Mueller report.”

The Mueller report does contain 162 references to notes, and the passage where he reportedly says the appointment of the special counsel meant the end of his presidency relies on the written account of Jody Hunt, then the chief of staff to former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Trump’s aversion to notetakers was in fact pointed out in the Mueller report.

Don McGahn, the former White House chief counsel, told Trump that his conversations were not protected by attorney-client privilege.

“The President then asked , “What about these notes? Why do you take notes? Lawyers don ‘t take notes. I never had a lawyer who took notes,” the Mueller report recounts. “McGahn responded that he keeps notes because he is a ‘real lawyer’ and explained that notes create a record and are not a bad thing. The President said , ‘I’ve had a lot of great lawyers, like Roy Cohn. He did not take notes.’”
