Supply chain accelerator Zebox opens HQ2-adjacent headquarters
The U.S. arm of Zebox, a French accelerator and incubator for supply chain and logistics tech startups, opened its U.S. headquarters in Crystal City on Tuesday. The company, which has another hub in Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, announced the formation of Zebox America and its choice of Arlington County in February 2021, after a competitive search among tech markets in other states. Zebox works as a middle agent to connect startups with funding, talent and corporate stakeholders, such as the Port of Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina-based shipping management firm Edray, and Randolph, Massachusetts-based supply chain trucking company RoadOne IntermodaLogistics Inc. It is investing roughly $4 million in its new HQ, said Charley Dehoney, vice president of Zebox America, in an interview with the Washington Business Journal at the opening event.
