Uber Will Let You Hail a Driverless Car from GM’s Cruise Next Year

Ride-hailing app Uber is expanding its partnerships with self-driving car companies, announcing Thursday that customers will have the option to ride in a Cruise autonomous vehicle starting in 2025. Uber riders who select a Cruise autonomous vehicle on a “qualifying ride” will get to ride in a Chevy Bolt-based driverless car.
