Waymo and Volvo Team to Make Self-Driving Vehicles

Alphabet's Waymo is partnering with Volvo VLVLY to develop a self-driving electric vehicle designed for ride hailing, the companies said Thursday. Volvo will design and manufacture the vehicles, the companies said, while Waymo will work on the artificial intelligence and certain hardware, including cameras, lidar and radar.
